It is quite affordable and comes in both single and double cabin according to your preference. It fits into the fuel purchasing power of most of the people living in African countries where fuel prices can sometimes skyrocket. Moreover, vehicle parts are easily available for this vehicle so that repairs and servicing can be done locally without much hassle.

A truly great 4 x 4 for usage in the most difficult roads in Africa would be the Unimog!
